Greetings Future Volunteer:

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at America’s Second Harvest of the Big Bend. We depend heavily on individuals and groups to help us in our fight against hunger. The time that you donate at the food bank will go a long way towards helping the men, women, and children of the Big Bend get the food they desperately need.

We are almost always in need of volunteers and anytime that you can spare is time that we can use. Whether it’s just for an hour a week or a few days a week, you can make a huge contribution to our mission to feed the hungry in the Big Bend Community. The work you will do at ASHBB can range from sorting donated food, to filling grocery bags for our Brown Bags for Seniors Program, to helping with administrative tasks in the front office. No matter the task, your hard work will make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
