5 For 5 Food drive grows as more businesses join in
A.M.W.A.T. Moving & Warehousing Inc. and Gandy Printers delivered their first load of food — 884 pounds worth — Tuesday to America's Second Harvest of the Big Bend in the "5 For 5" food drive that offers customers a minimum 5 percent discount on goods and services if they donate five nonperishable food items. The ongoing drive now includes ProBank and various law firms participating through the Legal Administrators Association of Tallahassee. More ...,
Boyd Family Charity Dinner
On October 25, 2009, U.S. Congressman Allen Boyd, Cissy Boyd and other family members hosted their Annual Family Charity Dinner, with proceeds going to America's Second Harvest of the Big Bend.
