Disaster Relief

ASHBB is part of a team of first responders which includes the Salvation Army and the American Red Cross. Our organization helps those on the frontline by providing food, basic necessity items, and water, in addition to some transportation of these items. We serve these communities 24/7 365 days a year; so we are there for the entire recovery process and any emergency needs that pop up throughout the year. ASHBB is also a proud member of Community Organizations Assisting in Disaster (COAD). Tropical Storm Debby has resulted in an immediate need for thousands of residents throughout North Florida. Second Harvest, working with County EOC's in each county has begun distributing food to populations with the greatest need. In doing so, we have depleted our stock of canned meat items.

Food and Cleaning Supply Drive - July 2, 2012 - July 16, 2012

Help restock our shelves and help residents recovering from the effects of Debby!

Monetary donations can be made on online. Donations will be used to purchase the much needed food items and cleaning supplies.

Donations of food and cleaning supplies can be made at any Wal-Mart store in Leon County in the Second Harvest collection barrels or at any of our on-going drop off locations throughout our service area. FIND A COMPLETE LIST OF LOCATIONS HERE
