America's Second Harvest of the Big Bend has many programs that strive to fulfill our mission by reaching out to the hungry people of northwestern Florida.

The Food Bank is a member of the national network of Food Banks called America's Second Harvest that accepts food donations from processors, distributors, farmers, and retail corporations.

Second Helpings, a prepared and perishable food recovery program, picks up and delivers food to agencies for same day use. Donations are picked up and food and grocery items are delivered directly to an agency door through the Mobile Delivery Program.

The Produce Program rescues fresh produce from wholesalers, retailers, and farmers' fields, to be distributed to those who need it the most in our community.

Five Kids Cafes provide area children in three counties with hot meals and snacks in an educational and safe setting.

Brown Bags for the Elderly provide supplemental grocery bags of food to member agencies for distribution to senior citizens in need.
